We are thrilled to announce the culmination of an incredible journey as we celebrate the successful completion of our first year of the Latinas in Progress Program (LIP). It has been a year filled with growth, empowerment, and unforgettable moments, and we couldn’t be prouder of the remarkable achievements of our talented young Latinas. Recently, we gathered to honor our scholarship recipients and LIP program graduates.
The Latinas in Progress Program was created with a vision to empower senior high school Latinas on their college journey and equip them with the tools for personal and professional success. Over the past year, we have expanded the program to include 9-12 grade students, providing a holistic approach that not only focuses on college preparation and admissions processes but also educates our students on essential topics like mindset, study skills, writing, and communication.
